Native to the deserts of northern Mexico, the Bunny Ear Cactus (Opuntia microdasys) is a low maintenance cactus to enjoy in your home, or outdoors in zones 9-12. Its pads grow in pairs, creating its distinctive “bunny ears” look. Decorative terracotta pot not included; arrives in a plastic grower's pot so you can plant it in your favorite planter!

Handle with gloves! The plant is covered in glochids (small, barbed hairs or spines found only on the Opuntia cactus family) that look cottony but contain numerous thin spines.
